About us

Our Kennel Name (Manorstone) is registered with both the Kennel Club and The Irish Kennel Club to ensure that future litters will carry forward the name. The name itself comes from our regular training ground which is located on a 13th century settlement in Leicestershire.

We are out every day with our dogs and if you would like to join us on a formal or informal basis, please do get in touch.

All our dogs are routinely vaccinated and regularly treated for all common parasites and Kennel Cough.

Nick Rawlins BCCSDip.AdvCanBhv with DISTINCTION is a Qualified Behavioural Practitioner certified with the British College of Canine Studies. We apply knowledge, understanding, common sense and kindness in our training and coaching of both dogs and their owners. The aim is simple, to maximise the bond between dog and owner building a lifelong partnership.

Never leave your pet alone in the car!

We’d like to remind all dog owners to never leave their animals in the car, especially during hot weather. Even cracking the windows won’t prevent temperatures inside the vehicle from reaching 60°C.

Theft of Gundogs from locked Vehicles is sadly on the increase.
Avoid leaving your dog in the car unattended, particularly after training, shoot days, Game Fairs & Shooting Grounds where you may have been seen with your dog!  If you must, leave your dog alone in your car, ensure that they are in a suitable, locked transit box.
